The magnet is used to detect the elastic deformation of the measuring springs (30,40) by using a magnetostrictive position measuring system. The quotient of the mass and volume of the buoyancy body (20) is larger than to-be-determined density, for example, application of the buoyancy body (20) in liquefied gas is the condition. The buoyancy body (20) is bias along the direction of the buoyancy in the working regions of the measuring spring (30,40) through spring forces.
