Abstract

The invention discloses a wireless router and a method for acquiring the optimum performance of the wireless router. The wireless router comprises a master control unit, a WIFI module, an Ethernet interface, and a BLE module. When the wireless router operates, the BLE module and a mobile terminal establish connection and the master control unit acquires the direction with the highest signal strength of the mobile terminal by using the BLE module and controls the WIFI antenna of the WIFI module to rotate to the direction with the highest signal strength. The method uses a characteristic that the BLE module and the WIFI module have same frequency (2.4GHz). The direction, acquired by the BLE module, with the highest signal strength of the mobile terminal is also the direction where the mobile terminal may acquire the highest WIFI signal. The WIFI antenna is rotated to the direction so that the wireless router may provide the most powerful WIFI signal for the mobile terminal and a problem of uneven signal strength of the wireless router is overcome. The method is simple and effective, low in design cost, and easy to implement.
