Problems solved by technology

[0005] When the gas appliance 1 is installed, if the pressure of the gas source 100 exceeds the national standard (for example, a pressure regulating valve that meets the national standard is not selected or the pressure regulating valve fails), the pressure of the gas injected into the gas valve 14 will be too high, resulting in gas Incomplete combustion, high carbon monoxide concentration
However, the existing gas appliance 1 cannot detect whether the pressure of the gas source 100 is too high. Even if the pressure output by the pressure regulating valve 104 is too high, the controller 16 will still control the opening of the gas valve 14 to allow the gas to flow to the burner. 10 burning
In this way, the concentration of carbon monoxide produced by the burner 10 will be too high, which may cause carbon monoxide poisoning of personnel.
Therefore, the design of the existing gas appliance 1 is still not perfect, and there is room for improvement

Embodiment Construction

[0018] Please refer to figure 2 Shown is a gas appliance 2 used in a preferred embodiment of the present invention. The gas appliance 2 is a water heater, including a heating unit 20, a water inlet pipe 52, a water outlet pipe 54, and a plurality of detectors 582, 584 , 586 , a controller 60 and an alarm unit 62 .

[0019] The heating unit 20 includes a heat exchanger 22 , a burner 24 , a gas valve 26 , a blower 48 and an ignition sensor 50 . The heat exchanger 22 has a plurality of heat absorbing fins 222 and a water pipe 224 passing through the heat absorbing fins 222 . The burner 24 is located below the heat exchanger 22 and is used for burning gas to heat the heat exchanger 22 .

[0020] please cooperate Figure 3 to Figure 6 As shown, the gas valve 26 includes a valve body 28 , an actuating unit 30 and a valve plug 42 . The valve body 28 has a gas channel 282, and the gas channel 282 has a valve port 282a. Two ends of the gas channel 282 are respectively formed on t...

Abstract

Provided is a gas valve control method for a gas appliance. A gas channel is arranged in a gas valve and enables a burner and a gas source to be communicated. The gas channel is provided with a valve port. A valve plug bears first acting force provided by the gas source to shield the valve port so as to block the gas channel. The gas valve control method is carried out when the gas appliance is started and comprises the steps that second acting force is applied to the valve plug, and the direction of the second acting force is opposite to the direction of the first acting force; the burner is ignited; and whether flames are ignited is detected, if yes, follow-up heating control is conducted, and if not, the second acting force is removed. Thus, when the first acting force is larger than the second acting force due to extremely high pressure of the gas source, the valve port of the gas valve cannot be opened, and the use safety of the gas appliance is improved effectively.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention is related to the control of gas appliances; in particular, it refers to a gas valve control method for gas appliances. Background technique [0002] Compared with heating appliances using electric energy, gas appliances have the advantages of energy saving, high thermal efficiency, real-time use, etc., and have been widely used in the heating field. [0003] Existing gas appliances1 (see figure 1 ) includes a burner 10, an ignition electrode 12, a gas valve 14 and a controller 16. The burner 10 burns gas to generate a flame, the ignition electrode 12 is used to ignite the gas output by the burner 10 , and the gas valve 14 communicates with the burner 10 and a gas source 100 respectively. The gas source 100 includes a gas pipeline 102 and a pressure regulating valve 104 , the pressure regulating valve decompresses the pressure of the gas in the gas pipeline 102 and injects it into the gas valve 14 . The controller 16 is electri...
