Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a lock management method and device for a distributed storage system. The distributed storage system comprises a lock server and at least two cache nodes. The method comprises the steps that the fault of the first cache node is determined; a first lock request message sent by the second cache node is received, dirty data backed up by the first cache node and not written into a memory are cached on the second cache node, the first lock request message carries first indication information, and the first indication information is used for indicating that the second cache node is the standby node of the first cache node; a first lock response message is sent to the second cache node according to the first lock request information. According to the lock management method for the distributed storage system, by adding the first indication information, the data consistency can be ensured when fault is produced on the main node, and reliability is improved.
