Abstract

The invention relates to a spatial-temporal-characteristic-based detection and service method for a parking space state of a community. An empty state of the parking space is detected based on a spatial-temporal characteristic and a real-time image of the parking space; and a parking service is provided for a vehicle owner at the time and space dimensions. The method can be widely applied to the detection and service of the parking space state of the smart community. According to the detection algorithm, on the basis of the real-time image characteristic of the parking space, a current empty state level is determined by combining concrete time as well as parking event scenarizing elements like the type of the functional zone where the geographic position of the parking lot is located. In terms of time dimension, the service system provides future prediction of the empty state level of the parking space; and in terms of space dimension, a spatial association analysis is carried out on the number of stalls at the parking lot near the target functional zone. Therefore, the detection level for the empty state of the parking space of the parking lot can be improved and the method has the great guidance significance in improving the stall management and service quality.
