The apparatus comprises a receiving module, a judgment module and a transmission module. According to the data transmission method and apparatus, the received data are not transmitted, instead, whether the transmission condition is met or not is judged according to the data volume of the data, and if the transmission condition is met, the data are transmitted to the NVRAM; and when large amounts of concurrent small block data are subjected to writing operation, the data transmission frequency is reduced, namely, the frequency of executing a data transmission preparation stage is reduced, so that the mean time delay of data transmission is shortened and the data transmission efficiency of the NVRAM is improved.
