Abstract

An embodiment of the invention discloses a method for identifying an object through a calculation device, comprising the following steps: extracting one or more biological features of an object to be identified; using a feature transformation matrix to transform the one or more biological features into transform features, wherein the feature transformation matrix is used for pre-creating multiple super balls for multiple target objects, each super ball among the multiple super balls uniquely corresponds to one target object among the multiple target objects, and the multiple super balls are separated from one another in space; and identifying whether the object to be identified is one target object among the multiple target objects by determining whether the transform features correspond to one super ball among the multiple super balls. According to the embodiment of the invention, the accuracy of open-set biological object identification is improved.
