Problems solved by technology

[0004] However, in the above-mentioned mobile load balancing process, there are various factors that affect the system performance of the entire heterogeneous cellular network. If only the load value of the cell is considered for load transfer, then the user equipment may need to perform multiple operations during the handover process. Only secondary load transfer can balance the load of the entire heterogeneous cellular network. This process is likely to lead to problems such as increased handover delay or reduced resource utilization, which increases the system performance loss of the entire heterogeneous cellular network.

Embodiment 1

[0049] Embodiments of the present invention provide a load transfer method under a heterogeneous cellular network, such as figure 1 shown, including:

[0050] 101. The control device acquires an identifier of a light-loaded cell selectable by each overloaded cell among the M overloaded cells, where M≥1.

[0051] 102. The control device acquires available resources of the light-loaded cells selectable by the first overloaded cell and load parameters of the light-loaded cells selectable by the first overloaded cell according to the identifiers of the light-loaded cells selectable by the first overloaded cell.

[0052] 103. The control device calculates a tolerance factor of a light-loaded cell selectable by the first overloaded cell according to the load parameter, where the tolerance factor is used to reflect the performance impact of the load parameter on load transfer.

[0053] 104. The control device allocates the available resources of the light-loaded cells selectable by ...

Embodiment 2

[0074] Embodiments of the present invention provide a load transfer method under a heterogeneous cellular network, such as figure 2 shown, including:

[0075] 201. Each base station serving each cell reports its own load parameters to the control device respectively.

[0076] 202. For an overloaded cell whose load value exceeds a threshold, the base station of the overloaded cell determines candidate cell information according to its own load value and lightly loaded cells whose load value is less than the threshold, and generates a candidate cell list according to the candidate cell information.

[0077] 203. The control device receives candidate cell lists respectively sent by M base stations respectively corresponding to the M overloaded cells.

[0078] 204. The control device calculates the tolerance factor of each candidate cell in each candidate cell list according to the load parameter.

[0079] 205. The control device judges whether there is at least one candidate c...

Embodiment 3

[0119] attached image 3 Shown is a hardware schematic diagram of the control device of the present invention.

[0120] The control device is responsible for controlling load balancing of multiple overlapping heterogeneous cells covering a certain area. If a certain cell in the area managed by the control device becomes an overloaded cell, the control device collects candidate cell information of each overloaded cell within the control range to form a candidate cell information set.

[0121] Such as image 3 , the control device includes a processor 11 , a transceiver 12 , a memory 13 and a bus 14 .

[0122] Wherein, the processor 11 , the transceiver 12 and the memory 13 are connected and communicate with each other through the bus 14 .

[0123] The processor 11 is the control center of the control device. The processor 11 processes the data received by the transceiver 12 and invokes software or programs in the memory 13 to execute various functions of the control device. ...

Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a load transfer method and device for use under a heterogeneous cellular network, relates to the field of communications, and aims to lower system performance loss in a load switching process by measurement of the influence of a load parameter on a cell load. According to the technical scheme, the method comprises the following steps: acquiring identifiers of light load cells which can be selected by each overload cell of M overload cells; acquiring available resources of the light load cells which can be selected by a first overload cell and load parameters of the light load cells which can be selected by the first overload cell according to the identifiers of the light load cells which can be selected by the first overload cell; calculating tolerance factors of the light load cells which can be selected by the first overload cell according to the load parameters, wherein the tolerance factors are used for reflecting performance influences of the load parameters on load transfer; and allocating the available resources of the light load cells which can be selected by the first overload cell to the first overload cell according to the identifiers and the tolerance factors of the light load cells which can be selected by all the overload cells in order to perform load transfer of the M overload cells.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the communication field, in particular to a load transfer method and device under a heterogeneous cellular network. Background technique [0002] A heterogeneous cellular network refers to an overlapping network in which multiple base stations with different transmit powers and different types of backhaul links cover the same area. In a heterogeneous cellular network, uneven distribution of user equipment or bursty traffic will cause large differences in the load of different cells. Moreover, due to the mobility of the user equipment, the load of the cell is always changing. The above-mentioned phenomena will lead to performance degradation of edge users in overloaded cells whose load value exceeds a threshold, while resource utilization of lightly loaded cells with a load value smaller than the threshold decreases, thereby affecting the overall performance of the heterogeneous cellular network. [0003] Through the m...
