The method comprises steps: a network message recorder is used for capturing a circuit breaker opening command message with a time scale and a corresponding circuit breaker opening position message in a GOOSE net, the time for issuing the opening command and the time for issuing the opening position message are acquired, the circuit breaker arcing start time is calculated, an SV message corresponding to a circuit breaker opening event is captured, the circuit breaker arc current effective value at the arcing start time is calculated, the arc extinguishing time is calculated, the opening life loss is calculated and the like; the circuit breaker arcing time is calculated, the circuit breaker arc extinguishing remaining stroke time is calculated, the circuit breaker arc extinguishing remaining stroke is calculated.
