Abstract

A Service Coverage Manager (SCM) may receive or retrieve coverage reports for service nodes and generate a global map of the service coverage for the service. The SCM can dynamically adjust service node overlays to accommodate client service requests and provide new service overlays to appropriate clients. The SCM can reduce the service coverage of a service node to reduce overlap with another node or reduce resource waste, or can expand the service coverage of a service node to cover additional clients.
