Problems solved by technology

[0002] Anisotropic electromagnetic metasurfaces have different electromagnetic responses to incident electromagnetic waves in different polarization directions, so they have great research value in the beam control and polarization control of electromagnetic waves. However, most of the current research based on anisotropic electromagnetic metasurfaces It is the research on a single beam under the incident conditions of plane waves, such as polarization conversion or polarization separation, which is difficult to meet some low-profile, multi-beam applications
[0003] The traditional multi-beam planar reflectarray antenna can construct a suitable phase distribution according to the principle of phase compensation to simultaneously generate multiple pencil-shaped beams with different radiation directions, but the polarization of the beam is usually single and cannot be adjusted.

Embodiment Construction

[0044] In order to solve the technical problem proposed by the present invention, the applicant conducted in-depth research and proposed the following solutions.

[0045] Such as Figure 1a and Figure 1b As shown, embodiments of the present invention provide a three-beam anisotropic metasurface. It can generate three beams in both horizontal and vertical directions, and the radiation angles of the three beams are the same, and different polarization states can be adjusted by designing the phase difference between the two orthogonal directions of the three beams. The three pencil-shaped beams it generates are symmetrically distributed in the horizontal plane, the radiation elevation angles of the three beams are all 30°, and the beam spacing in the horizontal plane is 120°. When the electric field direction of the feed is Figure 1b In the diagonal direction shown, the polarization mode of beam 1 B1 is right-handed circular polarization, the polarization mode of beam 2 B2 is...

Abstract

The invention discloses a multi-beam radiation and polarization regulation design method based on an anisotropic electromagnetic metasurface. The method comprises following steps of calculating phase distributions needing to be satisfied for forming a single beam on the anisotropic electromagnetic metasurface according to the radiation angles of the single beam in two orthogonal directions; with respect to the beams with the same radiation angles in the two orthogonal directions, on the basis of satisfying the phase distributions of the single beam, designing the phase difference in the two orthogonal directions according to the polarization mode of each beam; carrying out vector superposition on the phase distributions of the multiple beams in the two orthogonal directions according to an aperture field superposition method, thus obtaining the final phase distributions on the anisotropic electromagnetic metasurface; and finding out the sizes of the anisotropic unit structures corresponding to the final reflection phase distributions according to the final reflection phase distributions on the anisotropic electromagnetic metasurface in the two orthogonal directions. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages that the polarization mode of each beam can be regulated and the multiple beams can be regulated.
