The on-board figure and image virtual-real superposition method comprises the steps of conducting coarse-granularity processing, wherein relevant information of a real-time state is collected, a shooting area of a video image is rapidly positioned, altitude data and landform data at the same position within an adaptive area range in a on-board database are read, a corresponding figure is drawn through a computer, and an observation angle of view and a camera shooting angle of view are adjusted to be identical; conducting fine-granularity processing, wherein firstly, a feature detection algorithm is utilized, homonymy point feature information of the figure and the image is extracted, high-precision registration of the figure and the image is achieved, by means of an optimized interpolation algorithm, the figure data and the image data are fused, and then a result of figure and image virtual-real superposition is displayed.
