397 results about "Radiation angle" patented technology

In fiber optics, the radiation angle is half the vertex angle of the cone of light emitted at the exit face of an optical fiber. The cone boundary is usually defined (a) by the angle at which the far-field irradiance has decreased to a specified fraction of its maximum value or (b) as the cone within which there is a specified fraction of the total radiated power at any point in the far field.

Low profile antenna

A low-profile antenna has increased broad-banding capacities as well as a lower radiation angle for enhanced cellular or mobile telephone wireless transmissions. Enhancing a basic PIFA antenna, a top metal radiator is notched so as to provide additional corners and greater perimeter length thereby enhancing the bandwidth capabilities of the antenna. Both ground and tuning tabs serve to enhance operational characteristics and a dielectric cover incorporating prismatic qualities serves to lower the radiation angle of transmission from approximately forty degrees (40 DEG ) to twenty degrees (20 DEG ). The prisms provide an operating radiation angle in the range of approximately seventy degrees (70 DEG ) to twenty degrees (20 DEG ). In one embodiment, a sheet of plastic foam slightly thicker than the depth of an associated connector is secured to the underside of the bottom plate to act as a friction seal when the antenna is screwed onto a mating connector, allowing for slight variations in the curvature of the mounting surface. By making the bottom conductive plate only slightly larger than the top radiator, the antenna's resonant frequency becomes independent of ground plane mounting and may not require such a ground plane. Under such circumstances, some adjustment of the tuning parameters may be required in order to provide optimum response.

Speaker group with flexibly adjustable radiation angle and setting method

InactiveCN102438190ASatisfy different needs of directivityFrequency/directions obtaining arrangementsDigital signal processingSound sources
The invention discloses a setting method of a speaker group with a flexibly adjustable radiation angle. Considering the wide-directivity need, a digital signal processor is provided with a group of preset filters to control the relative amplitude and phase of each sound source channel signal output; considering the narrow-directivity need, the digital signal processor is provided with another group of preset filters to control the delay time and relative amplitude of each sound source channel signal output; and to switch between the wide-directivity need and narrow-directivity need, the real-time switch is flexibly realized through an instruction in the digital signal processor. Particularly, when ten sound sources are horizontally placed, different front-end digital filter groups are set according to different needs; when 'stereo wide directivity' is required, five right-channel sound sources are fed into the digital signal processor, processed by the filters 1-5 and fed to 5 independent power amplifiers and sound sources, thus forming right-channel wide-directivity radiation; and five left-channel sound sources form left-channel wide-directivity radiation. Through the invention, narrow-directivity replay also can be realized.

Leaking coaxial cable

The invention relates to a leaking coaxial cable with a grooved outer conductor. The leaking coaxial cable comprises an inner conductor and an insulating layer, an outer conductor, a packing layer and an outer sheath which are wrapped on the inner conductor in turn from inside to outside. The leaking coaxial cable is characterized in that: the outer conductor is uniformly provided with a plurality of triplex splayed groove slit groups, the triplex splayed groove slit groups consist of two columns of groove slits which are mutually symmetrically and obliquely distributed; and the groove slits form a combined structure according to different proportional sizes, different arrangement intervals and different radiation angles of the adjacent groove slits. The coaxial cable has wider communication band and more excellent voltage standing wave ratio and coupling loss value at 900MHz frequency band, has low system loss in a prescribed frequency band, excellent polarization property and about +/-5dB fluctuation of radiation intensity, improves the wireless communication quality, and realizes long-distance wireless blind area coverage. The outer conductor adopts a self-adhesive copper strip so that the consistency of longitudinally-wrapped overlapped lines of the copper strip along the length direction of the cable is ensured, the coupling loss fluctuation of the cable is lower and the polarization property is excellent.
