Abstract

The invention provides a hydraulic forming method of a pipe. The hydraulic forming method of the pipe comprises the following steps that at least one section of elbow pipe, to be formed, with the round section, and a hydraulic forming mold provided with a flat and square forming mold cavity are prepared; the elbow pipe to be formed is positioned to a lower mold body of the forming mold; an upper mold body is lowered for the first time, so that the elbow pipe to be formed is fixed; liquid is injected into the elbow pipe to be formed, exhausting is conducted, and the pressure is maintained after being increased to 5-20 bar; the upper mold body is lowered for the second time, so that the elbow pipe to be formed is flattened and shaped under the supporting of the internal hydraulic pressure till mold locking is conducted after mold assembly; second-stage increasing of the hydraulic pressure injected into the elbow pipe to be formed is conducted till the hydraulic pressure reaches 700-1000 bar, then the pressure is maintained for a period of time, the appearance of the pipe is formed, and then pressure relief is conducted; and the formed flat and square pipe is taken out by opening the mold. According to the hydraulic forming method of the pipe, a flattening procedure does not need to be additionally conducted before hydraulic forming so that the forming procedures can be simplified, the production cost can be reduced, and the forming quality can be improved.
