Abstract

The invention relates to a composition for admixture to animal feed or to the drinking water for animals, comprising monolaurate and monobutyrate glycerides, not comprising monoglyceride derived from a carboxylic acid having from 8 to 10 carbon atoms. The invention also relates to the use of this composition 1 as growth promoter in animal feed, preferably in poultry feed, still more preferably in broiler feed.
