The invention discloses a ship load measuring system which comprises an upper computer unit, a radar unit, a signal receiving unit and a testing unit. The testing unit is arranged on the outer side of a ship and comprises a sleeve, a floating ball and a signal transmitter. The upper computer unit, the radar unit and the signal receiving unit are arranged on the side, where the testing unit is located, inside the ship. The radar unit and the signal receiving unit are in communication connection with the upper computer unit. The specific position of a ship waterline can be obtained by detecting the position of the floating ball in the testing unit, and then the load capacity of the ship can be accurately worked out. In addition, the signal transmitter-receiver and radar modes are adopted for detecting the position of the floating ball in the testing unit, testing data obtained through the signal transmitter-receiver and radar modes is synthesized, testing defects of the signal transmitter-receiver and radar modes are effectively complemented, and therefore the specific position of the ship waterline can be more accurately obtained.
