The water switch is of a water-push type structure and composed of a main body, a cover plate, a sealing piece, a pushing piece, a spring or leaf spring, a mounting cover plate, a microswitch, stationary contacts, a movable contact, terminals, and a pushing pin of the microswitch. A water inlet channel and a water outlet channel does not communicate directly but are partitioned by the cover plate. When water flows, a circuit is connected; when water stops flowing, the circuit is disconnected; and the water switch needs to operate in cooperation with the gear switch, and a preheating switch is pushed when water in the water tank needs to be preheated.
