Abstract

The invention provides an environment monitoring device of an electric power machine room. The device comprises a detection board, a current detector and a sound production repeller. The detection board is laid on a connection position of a transformer substation and the outside world. The detection board comprises a first comb-shaped electrode plate, a second comb-shaped electrode plate and a direct current power supply. Comb-shaped electrodes on the first comb-shaped electrode plate and the second comb-shaped electrode plate are mutually interlaced and arranged and are not contacted with each other. Positive and negative electrodes of the direct current power supply are connected to the first comb-shaped electrode plate and the second comb-shaped electrode plate respectively. The current detector is arranged on the first comb-shaped electrode plate or the second comb-shaped electrode plate. The sound production repeller comprises a motor and a resonance box. A circumference of an output shaft of the motor is fixed with at least one billiard ball through a cord. The resonance box is adjacent to the billiard ball. The current detector monitors a current on the first comb-shaped electrode plate or the second comb-shaped electrode plate and sends a control signal to the motor when the current is detected. When the motor receives the control signal, the output shaft is rotated. By using the device of the invention, small animals can be timely discovered and repelled.
