Embodiment Construction

[0029] The following will clearly and completely describe the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present invention. Obviously, the described embodiments are only some, not all, embodiments of the present invention. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by persons of ordinary skill in the art without making creative efforts belong to the protection scope of the present invention.

[0030] The positive and negative levels of the detection output of the microwave probe detection diode are converted into a fixed-frequency AC signal through a chopper, and the signal is input to a circuit proposed by the present invention to suppress oscillation caused by instantaneous power increase.

[0031] The input signal is selected by two channels. The range selection switch N2 selects the low range or the high range according to the power. If the input...

Abstract

The invention puts forward a circuit for retraining instant increase and oscillation of power in a microwave power probe. A range selector switch selects a low range or a high range according to the power of an input signal. A gain amplifier amplifies an AC signal chopped by the range selector switch. After the AC signal gain-amplified by the gain amplifier is attenuated by a resistance network, if the level value exceeds the '+ threshold' and the '- threshold' of a window comparator, a trigger signal output by the window comparator produces a narrow pulse. For the narrow pulses produced by the trigger signal output by the window comparator, after a first narrow pulse of the trigger signal is produced, an FPGA immediately starts range selection and sets the range selector switch to a high-range on state. Compared with a hardware-free automatic setting range switch, the oscillation time is shortened from 3s to 20ms, and the efficiency is raised 150 times. Moreover, no data sampling during the period of oscillation is achieved, and no error data in the whole process is ensured.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of testing, in particular to a circuit used in microwave power probes to suppress oscillations caused by instantaneous power increases, and also relates to a method used in microwave power probes to suppress oscillations caused by instantaneous power increases. Background technique [0002] In the continuous wave power sensor, in order to ensure the sensitivity index of power measurement, it is divided into two power ranges, among which the high range is attenuated by 40dB relative to the low range. When the normal measurement signal in the low range suddenly becomes larger and exceeds the measurement range of the low range, if the signal cannot be switched to the high range in time to attenuate the signal, a long-term oscillation will occur in the back-end 40dB gain amplifier. During the oscillation, the measurement results will be erroneous, and only when the oscillation time has elapsed, the measurement r...
