Abstract

The soil improving agent is prepared from the following components in mass by percent: 26 to 35 percent of gypsum, 5 to 10 percent of coal ash, 10 to 20 percent of humic acid, 22 to 40 percent of furfural residue, 5 to 10 percent of calcium superphosphate and 10 to 25 percent of polyacrylic acid as well as 1 to 2 percent of boric acid, 1 to 2 percent of zinc sulfate and 1 to 2 percent of manganese sulfate. The soil improving agent has the advantages that by utilization of acidic substances such as the humic acid, the furfural residue and the like, the pH (Potential of Hydrogen) of soil is reduced; the calcium superphosphate and the gypsum contain a large amount of calcium elements which can substitute sodium ions in the soil, so that the degree of alkalization is reduced and the alkalized soil is improved; the soil capacity can be reduced by the coal ash, the porosity can be increased, and the activity of microorganisms in the soil can be improved, so that good soil environment can be created for crop growth; by utilization of the polyacrylic acid, the evaporation of soil moisture can be reduced, the accumulation of salt to the surface soil along with capillary water evaporation can be reduced; and by the calcium superphosphate, the boric acid, the zinc sulfate and the manganese sulfate, the soil fertility can be improved.
