A stable, aqueous composition containing a substantially crosslinked alkali-swellable acrylate copolymer rheology modifier, a surfactant, an alkaline material, and various compounds therein, as for example substantially insoluble materials requiring suspension or stabilization, such as a silicone, an oily material, or a pearlescent material. This invention relates to a method for treating ammonia nitrogen wastewater, especially high-concentration ammonia nitrogen wastewater produced during manufacture of oil-refinery catalyst. The method comprises: (1) adjusting the pH value of the wastewater, and solid-liquid separating to remove suspended matters and dissolved Si2+, Al3+ and their compounds; (2) adding Ca2+ to form CaSO4 precipitate, and solid-liquid separating to reduce acidic matters in the wastewater; (3) adding CO32- to form CaCO3 precipitate, and solid-liquid separating to remove Ca2+ in the wastewater; (4) steam-stripping for deamination, and performing biochemical treatment so that wastewater reaches state discharge standards. The method can solve the problems of low effect on removing suspended matters and dissolved Si2+, Al3+ and their compounds, scaling and column blockage during steam-stripping process, and the need for a large amount of alkali added, and can improve wastewater treatment effect.

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method for preparing hollow polyaniline microspheres, comprising the following steps: mixing aniline and an oxidant at the molar ratio of 1:(1.5-15) in a solvent for reaction, wherein the aniline can be potassium ferricyanide, sodium ferricyanide, iron phosphate or copper sulfate; and drying the products of reaction to obtain the hollow polyaniline microspheres. In the process of preparing the hollow polyaniline microspheres, spherical micelles are formed by the aniline in the solvent, and the cores of the spherical micelles are filled with aniline droplets. Because the oxidant adopted by the method has low oxidation-reduction potential, the oxidant can not generate acidic materials in the aniline polymerization process, the spherical micelle structure can be prevented from being changed to be in linear or sheet shape, and the hollow polyaniline microspheres can be finally obtained. A process for removal of sour species from a dehydrated natural gas feed stream is provided. The dehydrated natural gas feed stream is cooled to conditions where a slurry of solid sour species and hydrocarbon liquids is formed together with a gaseous stream containing gaseous sour species. The gaseous stream containing gaseous sour species is then separated from the slurry and treated with a liquid solvent, thereby forming a liquid solution of the sour species and a dehydrated sweetened natural gas product stream. An apparatus for removing sour species from a dehydrated natural gas feed stream is also provided. The apparatus has a vessel with a solids formation zone in fluid communication with a gas solvation zone. The solids formation zone is configured to facilitate formation of a slurry of solid sour species and hydrocarbon liquids and a gaseous stream containing gaseous sour species. The gas solvation zone is configured to facilitate formation of a liquid solution of sour species. The apparatus has an inlet for introducing the dehydrated natural gas feed stream to the solids formation zone, a conduit configured to direct the gaseous stream from the solids formation zone to the gas solvation zone, and an inlet for introducing liquid solvent into the gas solvation zone.

The invention relates to a modified clay new material and a preparation method thereof. The new material is characterized in that the new material is a compound of dealuminated clay with large pore volume and high specific surface area and pseudo-boehmite or boehmite; the new material comprises the following main components: silicon oxide and aluminium oxide; the molar ratio of SiO2 to Al2O3 is (0.01-50):1; the BET specific surface area is 80-800m2/g; and the low-temperature nitrogen absorption pore volume is 0.2-3.0ml/g. The preparation method comprises the following steps: firstly mixing the clay with certain amount of acids or alkalis to react at the temperature of 40-600 DEG C for 10 minutes to 48 hours to carry out dealuminizing to form a mixture of the clay and the aluminium salt, then adding 0-10% of pore-forming agents on dry basis to the mixture, mixing the mixture uniformly and carrying out a reaction on the mixture and alkaline substances or acidic substances, controlling the pH value to be 6-12, then raising the temperature to 50-200 DEG C for aging for 0.2-24 hours and drying the filter cake at the temperature of 60-500 DEG C after filtering and washing, thus obtaining the new material. The process for producing a biodiesel fuel comprises the steps of providing a fat or oil having an acid value of 20 or less as a raw material and heating the raw material oil in vacuum to thereby distill off any moistures, odorous substances and free fatty acids; bringing the raw material oil into contact with a hydrophilic adsorbent to thereby adsorb off any remaining free fatty acids and acidic substances; carrying out an ester exchange reaction in the presence of a potassium based alkali catalyst; and purifying light liquid components as a product of ester exchange reaction in accordance with a nonaqueous method.

A composition of matter and the method of making that provide a low pH acidic composition that is useful for destroying microorganisms that are undesirable and useful for destroying or reducing melanoma on human skin. The composition and method include a strong, low pH acid combined with distilled water and urea or an ammonium compound, such as ammonium sulfate or other metallic sulfates, including but not limited to, sodium sulfate, magnesium sulfate, zinc sulfate, manganese sulfate, and copper sulfate, under at least 15 psi pressure in pressurized container, all of which is heated to approximately 800° F. or more for at least 3 hours.
