Abstract

The present invention provides a wire rope tension measurement device and method with a self-locking thread jamming function. The device comprises thread jamming devices, a stringing device and a tension measurement device. There are two thread jamming devices which are both configured to mount the measured wire rope, and the distance between the two thread jamming devices is a presetting distance; and the tension measurement device and the stringing device are connected in order between the two thread jamming devices, and the stringing device is configured to tension the measured wire rope. The wire rope tension measurement device with self-locking thread jamming function can install the wire rope tension measurement system to the measured wire rope in the condition without breaking off the measured wire rope to measure the tension of the measured wire rope so as to ensure the continuity of the measured wire rope without the influence of the normal usage of the measured wire rope, and the measurement result is more accurate.
