Abstract

The invention provides a method for deploying a Lustre file system. The method comprises the following steps: manufacturing an ISO mirror image file for deploying the Lustre file system through a Kickstart technology; acquiring the ISO mirror image file; utilizing the ISO mirror image file to deploy the Lustre file system. According to the method, the ISO mirror image file for deploying the Lustre file system is manufactured by using the Kickstart technology, so that manual intervention is not needed in the process of using the ISO mirror image file to deploy the Lustre file system, and the Lustre file system can be deployed in parallel in a plurality of servers, so that the workload of workers is reduced, and the operating cost of an enterprise is reduced. The invention also provides a device for deploying the Lustre file system and a client, and the device and the client have the beneficial effects as well.
