Agricultural sprays can be produced by mixing citric acid and glutamic acid with metal salts and pesticides or other agrochemicals containing ingredients that can precipitate metal salts in the mixture. The citric acid and glutamic acid chelate the metal salts to provide stability and compatibility enhancing compositions, thereby preventing the metal salts from forming insoluble solids in the mixture. Such compositions can be prepared by mixing citric acid and glutamic acid in a molar ratio of about 6.8:0.5 to 1:0.29. The composition may include the metal salt, citric acid and glutamic acid, and the pesticide in a molar ratio of about 1:6.8:0.5 to 1:1:0.29.
