Abstract

The invention relates to a color box-based electronic component assembly process management system and method. Integrated editing of the electronic component assembly process and automatic generation of process cards are achieved through integration with a PDM system and a CAPP system through an electronic component assembly process system. The PDM system is used for defining an electronic component assembly process object, providing management of a PCB drawing and storing various files generated by the electronic component assembly process system and the process cards generated by the CAPP system; the CAPP system is used for automatically generating the process cards for assembling components according to various files output by the electronic component assembly process system; and the electronic component assembly process system is used for receiving an original PCB drawing from electronic design software, carrying out automatic analysis by adopting an electronic component assembly process tool, generating a component classification tree and managing the components in the PCB drawing. According to the system and the method, the management process of compiling process cards is combined with an assembly process of the electronic components; and the components are managed by using a similar component color box tree, the assembly orders of the components are classified according to the steps to fully automatically generate the assembly process cards and the assembly steps are clear and simple.
