Abstract

The invention provides a weeding composition. Active components of the weeding composition comprise azimsulfuron, pyraclonil and chipton, wherein the weight ratio of the azimsulfuron to the pyraclonil to the chipton is (1-10): (1-20): (10-100). The invention further relates to application of the weeding composition to prevention and control over growth of undesired plants including monocotyledon weeds and dicotyledon weeds, in particular to application to prevention and control over growth of the undesired plants in grain crops. The invention further provides a method for preventing and controlling growth of the undesired plants. The method comprises the step that the undesired plants or the growing places of the undesired plants are made to be in contact with an effective weeding dose of the weeding composition, or an effective weeding dose of the weeding composition is applied to soil, so that the undesired plants are prevented from germinating or growing.
