112 results about "MCPA" patented technology

MCPA (2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid) is a powerful, selective, widely used phenoxy herbicide. The pure compound is a brown-colored powder. MCPA has been extensively used in agriculture to control broad-leaf weeds as a growth regulator primarily in pasture and cereal crops field since 1945. The mode of action of MCPA appears to be similar to auxins, which are growth hormone that naturally exist in plants. Overdose application of MCPA acts as an herbicide and results abnormal growth.

Herbicidal composition comprising polymeric microparticles containing a herbicide

The invention provides a herbicidal composition comprising a mixture of: (a) polymeric microparticles containing a first herbicide, wherein the first herbicide is a synthetic auxin herbicide (e.g. dicamba, MCPA or 2,4-D) or an acetolactate synthase (ALS) inhibitor herbicide (e.g. triasulfuron, tribenuron-methyl, iodosulfuron-methyl, mesosulfuron-methyl, sulfosulfuron, flupyrsulfuron-methyl, or pyroxsulam); wherein the first herbicide, when in a salt-free form and when not contained within polymeric microparticles, antagonises the herbicidal activity of pinoxaden; and (b) pinoxaden; wherein the polymeric microparticles are controlled-release matrices, within which is the first herbicide, and which function in such a way as to control and/or slow down the release of the first herbicide from the polymeric microparticles into a liquid (e.g. aqueous) medium when the polymeric microparticles are placed (e.g. dispersed) in and in contact with the liquid medium. The containing of the first herbicide within the controlled-release polymeric microparticles is thought to mitigate the antagonism of the grass-weed-herbicidal activity of pinoxaden which might otherwise be caused by the first herbicide depending on the circumstances. The invention also provides a method of reducing the antagonistic effect on the control of monocotyledonous weeds in non-oat cereals which is shown by a herbicidal mixture of either a synthetic auxin herbicide with pinoxadenor an ALS inhibitor herbicide with pinoxaden, which comprises applying a herbicidal composition according to the invention. The invention also provides a herbicidal composition comprising (a) polymeric microparticles (e.g. controlled-release matrices), containing a first herbicide as defined above, and either (x) a nonionic surfactant or (y) a surface-modified clay, as defined herein.

Off-line MCPA calibration

A method is disclosed for obtaining high throughput linearity using a pre-distorter in front of a RF power amplifier, for instance a multi-carrier power amplifier (MCPA) for a communications system. The method can be carried out off-line to thereby save costs and components otherwise needed for a common on-line feed back. In a first step calibration is performed by measuring by an off-line spectrum analysis an output spectrum of the power amplifier and simultaneously applying a known input signal. As a next step digitized parameters characterizing the power amplifier are calculated in the frequency domain by comparing spectrum points between input spectrum and output spectrum. Thereafter calculated and weighted digitized parameters are transferred to a pre-distorting device. In a third step the known signal spectrum is transferred to the pre-distorting device feeding its output signal together with the original known signal spectrum to the power amplifier input thereby compensating for power amplifier non-linearity and minimizing inter-modulation products. Finally in a fourth step an uncompensated known input spectrum is compared with a corresponding compensated output spectrum of the power amplifier and the steps of calibration calculation are repeated until a best optimization input signal to the power amplifier regarding the inter-modulation products of the output signal has been achieved.

Herbicide composition containing glyphosate, MCPA (2-methyl-4-chloro-phenoxyacetic acid) and carfentrazone-ethyl

The invention discloses a herbicide composition containing glyphosate, MCPA (2-methyl-4-chloro-phenoxyacetic acid) and carfentrazone-ethyl. The herbicide composition is characterized in that the pesticide active ingredients of the composition are glyphosate or salts thereof, MCPA or salts or esters thereof and carfentrazone-ethyl; based on the herbicide composition, the weight percent of the pesticide active ingredients is 31.1-85%, wherein the weight percent of the glyphosate or salts thereof is 30-70%, the weight percent of the MCPA or salts or esters thereof is 1-30%, the weight percent of the carfentrazone-ethyl is 0.1-20% and the balance is non-pesticide ingredients. The dosage forms of the herbicide composition are wettable powder, water dispersible granules, soluble powder, soluble granules, aqueous solutions, emulsion in water and microemulsion. The composition has the advantages that after compounding, the herbicide composition has obvious synergistic effects, expands the weed control spectrum, increases the weed control speed, obviously reduces the usage amount and numbers of use of herbicides and can be applied to controlling imperata cylindrica, Bidens pilosa, dicranopteris dichotoma, eleusine indica, erigeron canadensis and other weeds in arable lands and non-arable lands.

The invention relates to a weeding water aqua prepared by binary combination of gramoxone and MCPA-Na and preparation method thereof. The weeding water aqua is composed of the following components by mass percent: 3-10% of gramoxone, 2-10% of MCPA-Na, 0.01-0.3% of 2-Amino-6-methyl-4-propyl-1, 2, 4triazolo [1,5a] pyriin-5(4H)-on, 5-15% of synergist, 8-20% of penetrant, and balance water. The preparation includes that: in the mass ratio, the gramoxone is added with water and stirred; the MCPA-Na is added with water and stirred; the two are mixed and stirred, the 2-Amino-6-methyl-4-propyl-1, 2, 4triazolo [1,5a] pyriin-5(4H)-on is added into the well mixed and stirred gramoxone and MCPA-Na and stirred; the penetrant and synergist and the mixture are all added into a kettle to be stirred for 10-15 minutes; water is added and stirring is carried out for 20-30 minutes; and then standing, filtering, filling and sampling analysis are carried out, thus finished product is obtained. The invention overcomes the defect of the existing weed killer that single weed can be killed, is a quick-acting touch out type broad-spectrum weed killer, has fast action on broadleaf weed in gardens of rice, wheat, barley, corn, peanut, potato, cotton and mulberry and is safe to crops, dosage is 200-300g per mu, and application cost is 11.9-9.75% (mu/once) lower than that of other similar products.
