Abstract

The invention discloses a seamless spherical screen capable of providing a large-span interior architectural space and a preparation process thereof. The spherical screen comprises a composite material outer film, a polyurethane heat insulation layer, a reinforced concrete thin shell and a projection screen layer which are successively composited from the outside in. The preparation process comprises the steps of enabling the bottom edge of the composite material outer film to be connected with an annular concrete pedestal; inflating the composite material outer film, wherein the composite material outer film bulges to form an inflated spherical film; coating an adhesive, and preparing polyurethane into the polyurethane heat insulation layer through a spraying process; installing a steel bar keel, and spraying concrete so as to form the reinforced concrete thin shell; and performing painting a screen coating material at the inner wall of the reinforced concrete thin shell so as to form the projection screen layer. According to the invention, the spherical screen and the spherical thin shell structure are enabled to be fused into an integral whole, a 360-degree omnidirectional seamless projection screen can be provided inside, and the spherical shape can provide an architectural space for virtual reality such as 3D, 4D and VR with a feeling of being personally on the scene.
