Abstract

A low drop-out voltage regulator comprises an error amplifier, an output circuit, a current tracking circuit, and a load tracking compensation circuit. The error amplifier comprises a positive input end, a negative input end and an output end, wherein the one of the positive input end and the negative input end is connected with reference voltage. The output circuit is connected with the output end of the error amplifier and an external load, and is configured to generate output current and output voltage to the external load. The current tracking circuit is connected with the output circuit, and is configured to receive the output current and generate tracking current that tracks the output current. The load tracking compensation circuit is connected with the current tracking circuit and the output circuit, and is configured to generate control voltage on the basis of the tracking current and to send the control voltage to the output circuit. The invention also provides a load current tracking compensation method of the low drop-out voltage regulator.
