Abstract

The invention provides a method and system for monitoring the temperature of the outer wall of a furnace bottom of an electric arc furnace. The system comprises the electric arc furnace, multiple infrared temperature detectors, a PLC and an upper computer. The multiple infrared temperature detectors are installed on a foundation of a cradle device of the electric arc furnace through supports and are used for scanning the furnace bottom of the electric arc furnace to obtain real-time temperature data of the furnace bottom. The PLC is connected with the multiple infrared temperature detectors through signal lines, used for receiving the real-time temperature data of the infrared temperature detectors and sends the real-time temperature data to the upper computer. The upper computer is connected with the PLC through the Ethernet and is used for conducting early warning according to a preset early warning value and the real-time temperature data.
