Abstract

The invention provides a battery cell edge sealing and tab leveling apparatus capable of improving the edge sealing and tab leveling efficiency of a battery cell. The apparatus is used for performing edge sealing and tab leveling on the battery cell. The battery cell comprises a body part; side wings are arranged on two sides of the body part; and a tab is arranged at one end of the body part. The apparatus comprises a clamp and a mechanical hand; the clamp is arranged in a first position; the mechanical hand is arranged close to the clamp and comprises a first operation part and a second operation part; capture units are mounted on the first operation part and the second operation part respectively to capture the battery cell; the first operation part moves the battery cell to the clamp located in the first position from a second position; a pressing structure is arranged on the second operation part to press the battery cell located in the clamp; and the second operation part performs the edge sealing and tab leveling and then moves the battery cell to a third position. According to the battery cell edge sealing and tab leveling apparatus, the overall working efficiency of battery cell processing can be greatly improved.
