Abstract

The invention provides a leakage detecting device and a leakage detecting system for a battery module. The battery module comprises a heat management assembly; the heat management assembly is provided with a first cavity which is used for accommodating a temperature control material; a gap is reserved between the leakage detecting device and the bottom of the heat management assembly. The leakage detecting device is provided with a leakage detecting assembly which is used for accommodating a conductive material; two ends of the leakage detecting device are connected with an external power supply; the external power supply and the conductive material in the leakage detecting assembly form an electric loop. When the heat management assembly leaks, the temperature control material enters the leakage detecting assembly accommodated with the conductive material along a side wall and the gap, and the electric loop formed by the external power supply and the conductive material in the leakage detecting assembly is disconnected so as to detect the leakage of the temperature control material in the heat management assembly. Therefore, the risk of existence of potential safety hazard is reduced; fateful and irreparable loss is avoided.
