Abstract

Embodiments of the invention provide a method used for a cloud system and an apparatus thereof. The method comprises the following steps of based on available infrastructure resources and at least one resource request, dynamically selecting a scheduling strategy from a candidate scheduling strategy set; and executing the selected scheduling strategy so as to schedule the infrastructure resources and serve the at least one resource request. Through the embodiments of the invention, when one or a batch of resource requests are arrived, the optimal scheduling strategy is dynamically selected; and aiming at the requests, an optimal resource distribution scheme is generated so that cost can be effectively operated and simultaneously a service grade requirement of the resource requests is satisfied.
