Background technique [0002] Combustible smoking articles, such as cigarettes, typically comprise a cylindrical rod of tobacco cut filler surrounded by a wrapper, and a cylindrical filter axially aligned in contiguous end-to-end fashion with the wrapped tobacco rod.
