The system is composed of a thin film pressure sensor array module, a multi-channel selecting and scale amplifying module, a guard bar state detection and control module, a signal processing main-control module, a direct-current carrier communication module and a nurse station monitoring terminal. Thin film pressure sensors collect body pressure distribution of a bedbound patient, and deduce the position of the patient during sleep; based on the falling statistical data, a guard bar is automatically adjusted. The falling accident rate and the nursing work load are reduced, and the body freedom as high as possible is provided for the patient. A collision bead electric contact sensor detects the state of the guard bar, and the state of the guard bar is controlled by using a solid relay, so that the fall-proof system and method are simple and reliable; power is supplied to the fall-proof system by using the 24 V direct current, so that the system is safe in essence; ascending and descending of the guard bar are achieved through dovetail groove kinematic pairs and locking dogs / holes, and the dexterity and the practicability are achieved.
