Abstract

The invention discloses an intelligent home appliance configuration method and apparatus, belonging to the intelligent home field. The method includes sending the networking request to an intelligent home appliance; receiving the message of the successful networking of the intelligent home appliance, the successful networking message including the appliance identification information and the WiFi module identification information of the intelligent home appliance; and sending a binding request to the server which establishes the binding relation between the account number of the terminal and the intelligent home appliance. The terminal realizes the binding between the account number of the terminal and the intelligent home appliance via the server based on the appliance identification information and the WiFi module identification information transmitted by the intelligent home appliance, so that the configuration of the intelligent home appliance can be completed. The whole configuration process doesn't need a user to manually scan or input the related information of the intelligent home appliance via the terminal, thereby simplifying the user's operation, preventing the problem of errors caused by software scanning or artificial input, and improving the configuration success rate.
