Abstract

The present invention discloses a method for determining a rotation radius of a vehicle steering knuckle. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, establishing a steering system structure model; step 2, establishing a full-load condition right steering rod-steering knuckle geometry model; step 3, establishing a full-load condition right steering knuckle rotation movement model; and step 4, determining a steering knuckle rotation radius. According to the method, AUTO CAD is used to establish a two-dimensional model according to a projection theory, which is strongly intuitive, highly efficient and highly precise.
