Abstract

The application provides an optical assembly and an optical line terminal. The lens element is configured to couple the light including the first wavelength and the second wavelength to the optical fiber interface and carry out beam transformation on uplink signals of a third wavelength and a fourth wavelength. Compatibility of a GPON and an NG-PON as well as compatibility of two kinds of corresponding ONUs in a network is realized; and thus smooth upgrading of the GPON system to the NG-PON system is realized.
