Abstract

The invention relates to a recovery method for water and thermal resources during synthesis of styrene-butadiene latex. The method includes the steps of: 1) during an initial polymerization reaction of forming small-molecular styrene-butadiene latex from a reaction monomer, collecting high-temperature water generated by liquefying steam used in a heating reaction; 2) using the high-temperature water for heating and heat preservation of a material during degassing, thereby cooling the water to form low-temperature water; 3) collecting the low-temperature water and using the low-temperature water for a growing polymerization process, in which small molecules polymerize into large molecules, of the styrene-butadiene latex, thereby forming middle-temperature water; 4) collecting the middle-temperature water for generating steam. During synthesis of the styrene-butadiene latex, water at three different temperatures is collected and is respectively used for heating or cooling reaction materials in a synthesis container, a growing container and a degassing container, or for generating the steam. The method fully utilizes the water and thermal resources, thus saving energy and reducing emission.
