The method comprises the steps that interval information is obtained according to a primary SCD file, when there is no interval information, a virtual primary conducting device is bound with a secondary device by creating voltage classes, intervals and the virtual primary conducting device, and the interval which the secondary device belongs to is obtained; the interval devices which are impacted by expansion are determined, irrelevant intervals and impactintervals are subjected to interval decoupling, and an irrelevant interval model and an impact interval model are obtained; an expansion interval model is added to the impact interval model so as to be combined with the irrelevant interval model after configuration is completed, and a new SCD file is formed through the combination; impact analysis is conducted by comparing the primary SCD file with the new SCD file, and the impact scope is determined. By means of the method, it is achieved that the risks, caused when the SCD file is directly modified traditionally, of error correction or mistake correction of the interval model which has been put into operation are reduced by modifying the specific model configuration file, the safe management and control requirements of the transformer substation expansion SCD file change are met, and the SCD file application complexity is reduced.
