The method comprises steps that a first network device receives first updating request information sentby a second network device, wherein the first updating request information carries network slice requirement information and the network slice requirement information is used for representing that network resources of the first network slice need to be updated into first network resources; the first network determines second network resources which can be provided for the first network slice according to the first updating request information; and the first network device sends updating confirmation information to the second network device, wherein the updating confirmation information is used for indicating that the network resources of the first network slice are updated according to the second network resources. According to the invention, the network slices can be updated according toactual conditions of the network, so proper utilization of the network resources is achieved.
