The invention discloses a digital method used for generating voltage waveform of a high-voltage direct current thyristor converter. The method comprises the steps of performing conversion of a basic existence function to obtain six existence functions of a 6-pulsation thyristor converter; performing correction of the six existence functions of the 6-pulsation thyristor converter by two parametersof a trigger angle and a phase communicating overlapping angle to obtain 12 existence functions of the corrected 6-pulsation thyristor converter; calculating the direct current end voltage of the direct current converter by the 12 existence functions of the 6-pulsation thyristor converter; performing superposition between the direct current end voltage of the 6-pulsation thyristor converter and the direct current end voltage of the other 6-pulsation thyristor converter with a phase communicating pulse phase shifting angle of 30 degrees to obtain the direct current end voltage of a 12-pulsationthyristor converter; and calculating the valve voltage of the thyristor converter by a conduction function.
