Abstract

The invention discloses a method for extracting a parameter index in an air traffic flow characteristic parameter index system. Based on the information provided by air traffic control radar data, a set of systematic air traffic flow characteristic parameter index system is designed according to requirements of an operation unit for traffic flow research, and the definition of an index and a method for extracting the index are given. The characteristic index system comprises a flight flow attribute characteristic index, an operational safety characteristic index and an operational efficiency characteristic index. The calculation result of characteristic parameter values reflects the movement state and complexity of air traffic flow, and the change of a traffic flow state can be reflected by the comparison of the continuous indexes at different time periods. The quantitative description and assessment of the operational state of the air traffic flow are carried out, and basic data analysis method and technique are provided for researchers and users to understand, know and optimize the traffic flow.
