Abstract

The invention relates to a supersaturated traffic intersection optimum-control method based on a state space target curve. The supersaturated traffic intersection optimum-control method comprises thefollowing steps that 1, the queuing situations at intersections are acquired through traffic intersection sensors; 2, queuing states of the intersections are transferred to a queuing space, the wholeintersection control problems are converted into queuing theory problems, and current queuing states are calculated; 3, operation is performed according to an established time-risk dual-objective optimization method to obtain target queuing states at a next moment; 4, errors of the queuing states are calculated according to the current queuing states and the target queuing states at the next moment. The supersaturated traffic intersection optimum-control method has the advantages that an overflow risk index is introduced, and supersaturated state duration time is combined to establish the dual-objective optimization problem, namely the shortest supersaturated state duration time and minimum overflow risk are used as objective functions. By adopting the novel control method, the time lengthof traffic lights is controlled by combining with PID control algorithm.
