Embodiments of the invention disclose an image processing and storage method and apparatus, and relate to the technical field of computer information. The method comprises the steps of monitoring a request through a main process, and creating a request processing sub-thread after a received request message; executing the request processing sub-thread for analyzing the request message to obtain request parameters, and inputting original image data and the request parameters to a called image processinginterface; through the created image processing sub-thread, processing the original image data according to the input request parameters to obtain a processing result; and through the request processing sub-thread, generating a response message according to the processing result, and feeding back the response message for the request message.
