The method comprises the steps of arranging a first drum liquidlevel monitoring point and a second drum liquid level monitoring point at a boiler drum, wherein the first drum liquid level monitoring point and the second drum liquid level monitoring point are at the same height of the boiler drum; obtaining a first liquid level detecting value T of the first drum liquid level monitoring point and a second liquid level detecting value S of the second drum liquid level monitoring point; presetting a boiler drum liquid level threshold D1, a process setting range maximum liquid level value D2 and a process range minimum liquid level value D3; and when the absolute value of the result of T minus S is greater than D1 or when T is greater than D2 or less than D3, or when S is greater than D2 and less than D3, stopping the automatic water level adjustment of the CDQ boiler and starting the manual water level adjustment of the CDQ boiler. When the automatic water level adjustment of the CDQ boiler is abnormal, manual adjustment can be switched in time; misjudgment of the automatic adjustment can be strictly controlled; and the safety of the automatic water level adjustment of the CDQ boiler is increased.
