The object locating method comprises: acquiring, by a camera, an initial image including a first identifierportion, wherein the first identifier portion corresponds to a first directional reflecting unit arranged on an object; determining first coordinates of the first directional reflecting unit from animage coordinate system of the camera based on the initial image and the position of the first identifier portion; acquiring second coordinates from a world coordinate system of the camera; determining an object position of the object from the world coordinate system based on the first coordinates and the second coordinates. Therefore, low-cost real-time precise location is achieved for an object.
