Abstract

The invention discloses a processing method and device during data storage. The method includes the steps of receiving an instruction for triggering data recovery; according to the instruction, conducting snapshot loading, and recovering data to snapshot generation time through snapshot loading to obtain initial recovery data; according to recording data of a write operation in a stream and a dataversion of data, corresponding to the write operation, in the initial recovery data, and executing repeat of the write operation; through the repeat of the write operation in the stream, further recovering the initial recovery data to an assigned time point of the stream. For any piece of data in the initial recovery data, corresponding data versions are all provided, whether or not the corresponding write operation in the stream is executed on the data is determined according to the data versions and the recording data of the write operation, and the determination result serves as a basis for executing repeat of the write operation on the initial recovery data; under the control mechanism, the stream and a snapshot do not need to be matched with each other strictly in time, the implementation of data recovery can also be ensured, and the success rate of the data recovery is increased.
