The system comprises an ultrasonic detection subsystem,an X-ray detection subsystem and a diagnosis system, wherein the ultrasonic detection subsystem detects casings of a power cable and a connector through an ultrasonic probe, accomplishes the ultrasonic detection of the outer ring parts of the power cable and connector, and determines a shooting angle, shooting position and shooting distance of the X-ray detection subsystem during detection; the X-ray detection subsystem respectively accomplishes X-ray detection of the outer ring parts and the inner ring parts of the cable and connector at twice according to set parameters provided by the ultrasonic subsystem; the diagnosis system performs combined analysis on the state of the cable and connector according to two detection results output by the ultrasonic detection subsystem and the X-raydetection subsystem.
