Embodiment Construction

[0044] The following will refer to figure 1 and 2 An embodiment of the tube holder of the centrifuge according to the present invention will be described in detail.

[0045] figure 1 The shown tube holder 1 is mounted on an oscillating rotor 2 for a centrifuge. The swing rotor 2 is composed of a rotor yoke 3 and a plurality of barrels 4 . The rotor yoke 3 is driven by an unshown motor to figure 1 The axis shown by the dash-dotted line C is the center of rotation. Such as figure 2 As shown, the rotor yoke 3 has a plurality of arms 5 . Each distal end of the arm 5 is provided with a trunnion pin 6 .

[0046] Each tub 4 is formed in a cylindrical shape having a bottom and opening upward. Trunnion pin grooves 7 in which the trunnion pins 6 of the rotor yoke 3 are engaged are formed in the barrel 4 . Bucket 4 is held by rotor yoke 3 so as to be able to swing about trunnion pin 6 .

[0047]The swing rotor 2 is mounted on a motor shaft of a centrifuge (not shown), and rota...

Abstract

A tube rack for a centrifuge is provided with: a holder (14) having a plurality of tube holes (12) for containing tubes for samples, each of the plurality of tube holes (12) being open to one end of the holder (14), the end being located on the tube insertion side, and also to the bottom of the holder (14), the bottom being located at the other end; bottom rubber (15) having a plurality of bottomrubber sections (25) fitting in the tube holes (12), the bottom rubber (15) further having connection sections (24): and a closed-end cylindrical base (13) for containing and holding the holder (14) and the bottom rubber (15) so that the holder (14) and the bottom rubber (15) can be mounted and removed from the base (13), the base (13) being inserted into a bucket of the centrifuge. In the provided tube rack for a centrifuge, the bottom rubber is easily mountable, and in addition, although unlikely to be dislodged, the bottom rubber can be easily replaced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a tube rack for a centrifuge for holding tubes each containing a sample for centrifugation. Background technique [0002] Conventionally, angle rotors and oscillating rotors are mainly provided as rotors for centrifugal separators. In an angle rotor, a constant angle value is used for the angle of the tube holes that hold each tube containing the sample for centrifugation. The oscillating rotor is formed by a rotor yoke and a barrel. The barrel is used to accommodate tubes each containing a sample, and is detachably and swingably connected to the rotor yoke. When the tubes are placed in the tube racks, the tubes are contained in the buckets. With the rotation of the rotor yoke, the barrel is swung by the centrifugal force to an angle of 0° to 90°. [0003] The tubes used to swing the rotor are usually mostly made of glass or plastic. In conventional pipe racks, one or more individual pipe holes are formed to hold the pipes...
